Molded from computer tomographic (CT) scans of a living 40 year-old male, this unique replica incorporates the larynx, trachea and the ramifications of the bronchial tree.
The larynx with flexible epiglottis detaches at the level of the second tracheal cartilage, and then bisects along the medical plane. The larynx, trachea, primary and lobar bronchi are depicted in mono color, while the bronchi of the various lung segments are molded of flexible plastic in contrasting transparent colors.
Complete with detachable support base.
